Tout a commenc\u00e9 en 1848, quand l\u2019arm\u00e9e britannique<\/strong>, qui combattait pour la reine sur la fronti\u00e8re nord-occidentale entre l\u2019Inde et l\u2019Afghanistan, a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 porter des uniformes kaki<\/strong> (un mot hindi qui d\u00e9signe la \u00ab poussi\u00e8re \u00bb) pour se camoufler \u2013 au lieu de porter les tuniques rouges traditionnelles avec un pantalon blanc.<\/p>\n
