Well, on\u00a0<strong>Sunday September 27th<\/strong> there was all around the world the extraordinary<strong>\u00a0Distinguished Gentleman\u2019s Ride<\/strong>.\u00a0More than <strong>37,000<\/strong> stylishly-dressed gentlemen in over <strong>400 cities<\/strong> were driving their motorcycles to raise<strong> funds for prostate cancer research<\/strong> and awareness.\u00a0A great way to combat the often negative stereotype of \u201crude men\u201d on motorcycles and a good way to do something important for real men\u2019s lives.\u00a0In grand style, dapper gents and elegant ladies rode their steeds spreading dapper style and joy throughout the city whilst raising awareness for men\u2019s health.\u00a0Obviously we were proudly there in <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lanieri.com\/jazz-night-milan-atelier-lanieri\/\"><strong>Milan<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1328\" class=\"thumbnail wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 487px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lanieri.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Lanieri-GentlemanRace-051.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-1328\" title=\"Charcoal Brown Suit from F\/W 2015 Collection\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.lanieri.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Lanieri-GentlemanRace-051-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Lanieri-GentlemanRace-05\" width=\"477\" height=\"318\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"caption wp-caption-text\">Charcoal Brown Suit from F\/W 2015 Collection<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Distinguished Gentleman\u2019s Ride was <strong>founded in 2012 in Sydney Australia<\/strong>, inspired by a photo of\u00a0Mad Men\u2019s\u00a0Don Draper astride a classic bike and wearing his finest suit. It was decided a themed ride would be a great way to <strong>combat the often-negative stereotype of men on motorcycles<\/strong>, whilst connecting niche motorcycle communities together.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1334\" class=\"thumbnail wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 393px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lanieri.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Lanieri-GentlemanRace-11.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-1334\" title=\"Riccardo Pozzuoli wearing a Green Birdseye Stripe Suit\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.lanieri.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Lanieri-GentlemanRace-11-644x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Lanieri-GentlemanRace-11\" width=\"383\" height=\"607\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"caption wp-caption-text\">Riccardo Pozzuoli wearing a Green Birdseye Stripe Suit<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That first ride brought together over 2,500 riders across 64 cities. The success of the event encouraged the founder to consider how it could be used to support a worthy cause.\u00a0In 2014, over 20,000 participants in 257 cities in 58 countries raised <strong>over $1.5 million (USD)<\/strong> for prostate cancer research.
